| Research Abstract |
1.C^n上のabsolute normとBanach空間のψ-直和について
(1)任意有限個のBanach空間のψ-直和に対して,strict convexity, uniform convexity,及びnearly uniform convexityを特徴付けた。
(2)Bancch空間X, Yのψ-直和がuniformly non-squareになるための必要十分条件を与えた。
(3)C^n上のabsolute normがsmoothとなるための必要十分条件を与えた。
2.(1)Strong type, strong cotypeの概念を導入,これによりp-uniformly smooth, q-uniformly convexの空間を特徴付けた。また,これらの概念のLebesgue-Bochner空間L_r(X)への遺伝性について考察した。
(2)Optimal 2-uniform convexity inequalityを拡張した。
3.Banach空間のnormから誘導される凸関数により,Banach空間のいくつかの幾何学的性質を統一的に記述した。
4.Banach空間のSchaffer型定数を導入し,uniform normal structureとの関係等について考察,いくつかの結果を得た。
5.以上の成果について,日本数学会秋季総合分科会・年会,京都大学数理解析研究所研究集会,実解析学シンポジウム等で発表,またAdam Mickiewicz Univ. (Poznan, Poland)で講演した。
