Research Abstract |
In building structures, there are not small cases in which non-planar earthquake resisting walls are placed. The crack which crosses the wall leg is generated, when such wall receives the bi-directional horizontal force. The slip occurs by the shear force in the crack plane, when this crack width increases. Therefore, it is necessary to consider this phenomenon, when the inelastic model makes it. In this study, by applying shear force to the wall in which the crack was beforehand generated by bending tensile force, crack width and slip property were examined experimentally. Main research results are as follows. 1.The stress level in the slip start can be estimated by the elastic stress calculation. The stress is the case in which it becomes the tension in the full cross section and reaches the tensile strength of the concrete in the part. 2.It becomes a case in which all the reinforcement which cross the crack plane did the tensile yield for the condition of the slip yield. 3.Shearing unit stress and slip displacement of slip yield point can be estimated in the approximation respectively presented.
