Research Abstract |
It was clear that painful animal model, CFA(complete Freund's adjuvant) and CCI(choronic constriction injury) in sciatic nerve induced neuropathic pain. The pain-related behavior which these models lick hindpow and take escape behavior for heat radiation and a pin prick test. That these pain-related action is inhibited by administration of thalidomide of immunomodulator and cyclosporine S of an immunosuppressive drug, and a substance of inflammatory contributes to neuropathic pain is predicted. Therefore I paid attention to interleukin-6(IL-6) which contributed to neurotization deeply. I understood that a pain-related behavior for all algetic irritation was inhibited when I preloaded an antibody of IL-6. IL-6 developed in rat dorsal root ganglia, spinal dorsal root and nerve injury region from the immediately after which nerve damage caused. I became a peak after nerve damage in three days and continued it to 14 after a disorder. This immunostaining result accords with course of rat pain-related behavioral degree. Rat sciatic nerve exposed was soaked into IL-6 solution, and it developed a pain-related behavior as CCI and CFA painful model. Intervention of IL-6 to neuropathic pain became clear. Early administration of an IL-6 blocker after nerve injury is effective as a therapy of neuropathic pain.
