Research Abstract

テトラフェニルポルフィリンを骨格に持つアミノ酸5-(4-アセチルアミノフェニル)-15-(カルボキシフェニル)-10,20-ジフェニルポルフィリン(NH_2-TPP-COOH)を新規に合成し、縮合反応により単量体CH_3CONH-TPP-CONHCH_3、2量体CH_3CONH-TPP-CONH-TPP-CONHCH_3、及びその亜鉛錯体[Zn_n{CH_3CO(NHtppCO)_nNHtppCONHCH_3}](n=1,2)を得ることに成功した。同定は^1H NMR,ESI-MSで行った。2量体は約40Å以上の長さを有する。可視紫外スペクトルにおいて、2量化に伴うソーレバンド線幅の拡がりや発光スペクトルの顕著な変化が見られなかったことから、2つのポルフィリン環の間には架橋するアミド基を通しての電子的な相互作用は無いことが明らかとなった。
一方、コバルトセニウム骨格を有するアミノ酸[(NH_2C_5H_4)Co(C_5H_4COOH)](PF_6)の両端をアシル化、アミド化した[(CH_3CONHC_5H_4)Co(C_5H_4CONHCH_3)](PF_6)は固体状態で分子間NH…O=C水素結合を形成している。BPh_4塩はクロロホルムのような低極性溶媒にも溶解し、分子間の水素結合に変わって分子内NH…O=C水素結合を形成する。また、アニオンをCl^-にかえるとNH…Cl^-水素結合が形成される。以前に合成したフェロセン誘導体との比較では分子内水素結合は弱くなっているが分子間でのCl^-との相互作用は強くなっている結果となった。これはM-Cp(シクロペンタジエニル)間の距離がFe(II)からCo(III)に代えることで長くなりアミド間の距離が長くなったことに起因すると考えられる。しかし、中心金属の価数が高くなったことでアミドのNHの電子密度が減少した為にアミド基の水素結合能は高くなっており、分子間での水素結合の形成が容易になったものと考えられる。静電的には不利と考えられたカチオン間の水素結合が固体中で形成されたことも、これを支持している。
