多核金属錯体による分子状酸素活性化とその精密制御

Research Abstract

概要
有機合成化学や錯体化学の方法論を基盤とし、酵素活性中心の精密モデル化と機能解明について研究を展開した。特に非ヘム金属酵素による分子状酸素の活性化機構に着目し、分子構造の精密制御に基づく新規な酸素錯体の開発や、有機合成化学への応用について検討を行った。さらに、配位子設計に基づく新規な超分子錯体の開発やその機能解明と応用にも着手した。
・非対称型金属錯体の合成と酸素活性化
非対称型金属錯体やヘテロ複核金属錯体を構築するために、異なる配位環境を提供可能な新規非対称型二核化配位子を設計・合成し、それを用いて遷移金属錯体の合成を行った。合成した非対称型二核銅錯体と酸素分子との反応により、新規な酸素活性種の生成を確認し、構造、物性の面からキャラクタリゼーションを行った。次に、この活性酸素種の反応性の検討を行った。
・不斉酸化触媒系の構築と活性制御
分子状酸素の活性化とその精密制御に加え、不斉認識部位を組み込んだ新規な触媒系の構築を目指した二核金属錯体を合成し、その触媒活性について検討を加えた。その結果、二核鉄錯体ではアルカン類の高効率的酸素化触媒の開発に成功した。また二核マンガン錯体では、オレフィンのα-位の水酸化反応が進行した。さらに二核コバルト錯体では、アルカン類の効率的な酸化活性が見出された。
・超分子多核遷移金属錯体の合成と配位子による構造
結晶構造の精密制御に基づく物性の改良と改変は、機能性材料の開発において非常に重要な課題である。本研究では、様々な機能が期待される多核金属構造や分子集合組織体を開発するため、新規なビルディングブロックの設計とそれを用いた多核遷移金属集積錯体の合成を行い、構造の制御方法を確立した。さらに合成したポリマー錯体の機能発現についても検討し、発光特性を見出した。発光のメカニズムについて検討する予定である。
