| Research Abstract |
本研究は,モルフォロジー(mathematical morphology)にもとづいて基本微細図形(primitive),プリミティブから派生する粒子(grain),およびその配置点の3要素でテクスチャ画像を記述する手法である"primitive, grain and point configuration (PGPC) texture model"を提示し,テクスチャの再構成可能な形での特徴抽出法・テクスチャの変形と再構成手法を確立するものである.本年度は,(1)primitiveをその形状だけでなく輝度分布も合わせて推定する方法,(2)推定された配置点の一部を省略することで,テクスチャの特徴を損なわないノイズ除去を行う方法,(3)配置点を確率過程モデルで表現し,ローカルにはもとのテクスチャの特徴を保ちながらグローバルな粒子の配置を変更したテクスチャを生成する方法,および(4)あるサイズの粒子を配置する配置点と,他のサイズの粒子を配置する配置点との間の,点配置の相関関係を推定し,それを保ちながら点配置を変更することでセミローカルな特徴を保つテクスチャを生成する方法を研究し,国内外の研究集会で発表した.
また,関連研究として,黒い布の画像のもつテクスチャを測定し,黒い布の視覚的印象とテクスチャ特徴量の関係を定量化することで,人の感性を画像特徴量で表現する方法を開発した.
