| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
最終年度では、以下の研究成果を得た。
１）小型ピロプラズマ感染による放牧牛の貧血病態は宿主免疫の異常バランスに起因する大球性高色素性貧血であることを解明した。
２）スリランカ、エジプト、ベトナム、モンゴル、及びタイにおける牛やマダニのピロプラズマ感染の実態を国際疫学調査によって明らかにした。
３）ピロプラズマ病の治療薬の候補を同定した。
