Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
At present, Dr. Uddin is preparing the manuscript for the original proposed research. He has been organizing the data from the fieldworks, while doing an in-depth literature review for theoretical clarification. Simultaneously, he is conducting a review on a paper that he has been invited to do by the publisher Taylor & Francis for the Journal of Human Trafficking. He has been also invited to publish a book chapter in a book entitled Criminology and Criminal Justice in South Asia, and have submitted the chapter entitled “Revisiting Gender-sensitive Human Security and Human Trafficking in South Asia: The Case of India and Bangladesh,” which is being reviewed now and hopefully will be published in September-October, 2016 from Palgrave Macmillan. As a whole, Dr. Uddin has been conducting his research almost as he initially planned.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
With the continuation of above mentioned research, future research will concentrate in publishing the result in leading international journals of social science and humanities and presenting it at next international conference. Dr. Uddin is also planning on conducting one more fieldwork in Tokyo, which would help him get update information for the current research.
