Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During this academic year, I began to interpret and elaborate all the materials and documents that I had previously collected. As a result of my studies,I had two presentations in Okinawa (OKinawa Kokusai daigaku and Ryukyu daigaku) and one in Tokyo (Tokyo daigaku) about my research themes (I received an invitation for two of these 3 presentations). Based on the content of these talks, I wrote 3 articles (2 in Japanese and 1 in English) and I have completed my book manuscript in Japanese. I have already found an editor who is interested in my manuscript. I will do all my best to be able to publish my book within this academic year. Last December, I received the "1st Professor Joseph Krenier Award for International Japanese Studies" by Hosei University International Japanese Studies.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The most important result of my research was to write a book manuscript based on my Ph.D. dissertation. Given that I have almost terminated this objective, I think my study is proceeding according to my expectations.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
During the last months of my research, I am planning to review my book manuscritp and to stipualte a contract with the editor. Given that I wrote my book in Japanese, it needs many revisions by a Japanese native speaker.
