| Research Abstract |
研究協力者であるノルウエーがん登録資料のS.トレットリ教授が平成15年10月にサーメ人の血清(かつておこなわれたヤーヌスプロジェクト{サーメ人に関してノルウエーがん登録資料あるいはベルゲン大学のビジェルケ教授によって行われた心臓血管疾患や結核の疫学的調査}の際に得られたもの)を持って来日した。この血清(サーメ人血清400例とノルウエー人血清380例)を使用可能になるまでにはノルウエーにおいてきわめて厳しい倫理審査を通過する必要があった。それらは担当地域の医学倫理委員会(The Medical Ethic Committee)、該当研究試料の検査官(The Data Inspectorate)、試料保管を担当している臨床生化学研究所(Owner of the serum samples)、ノルウエー少数民族の研究情報を管理している国立衛生研究所(National Institute of Health {The owner of the information about ethnicity})、血液試料と少数民族情報の連結に必要な社会保険理事会(Social- and Health director {linking the blood sample and the information about ethnicity})の審査である。血清から民族の起源を解析した。すなわち、これら血清中の抗HTLV-I抗体をparticle agglutination testによって解析した。サーメ人1例が弱い陽性反応を示し、サーメ人4例とノルウエー人4例が非特異的な陽性反応を示したため、これら9例を免疫プロット法によってHTLV-Iタンパク質(gp46やp53、p24、p19)の有無を解析した。その結果はいずれも陰性であり、サーメ人はネオモンゴロイドであることが示唆された。サーメ人は同じ地域に住むノルウエー人よりも多量の脂肪を摂取しているにもかかわらず、食道と胃のがんが多く、大腸、乳腺、前立腺、肺のがんが少ない。トロムソ大学において詳細な研究打ち合わせをおこない、脂質代謝関連遺伝子(コレステリルエステル転送タンパク質(CETP)およびCD36、beta2糖蛋白I(beta2GPI))の変異と多型の解析に重点を置いて研究を展開中である。血液等試料はkarasjok、Kautokeinoのみでなくロシアとの国境近くに住みロシア正教を信じる隔絶された少数のサーメ人(北緯70度のvarangerhalvoyaのNanesetに限局して居住している)およびロシア国内のサーメ人からの収集の準備に入った。がんの発生や種類と食習慣と宿主(特に遺伝要因)因子を疫学的に解析すれば、急速に増加しつつある脂質関連がんの原因解明と予防法樹立の一助になると思われる。
