Research Abstract

当該研究期間内に成し遂げた主な成果は、以下のとおりである。
(1) 新しいBDA-TTP超伝導体の開発
常圧超伝導体β-(BDA-TTP)_2X(X=SbF_6, AsF_6, PF_6)の発見に引き続き、圧力誘起超伝導体β-(BDA-TTP)_2X[X=FeCl_4, T_c=2K(6.3kbar); X=GaCl_4, T_c=3.1K(7.6kbar); X=FeBr_4, T_c=1.1K(11kbar); X=GaBr_4, T_c=0.6K(11kbar); X=I_3, T_c=10.5K(10kbar); X=IBr_2, T_c=8.0K(5.5, 6kbar//c-axis)]の開発に成功した。また、β-(BDA-TTP)_2FeX_4(X=Cl, Br)が常圧で反強磁性転移(X=Cl, T_N=8.5K; X=Br, T_N=9.5K)を示すことを明らかにした。
(2) 化学修飾による安定な金属状態の不安定化
ドナー分子BDH-TTPが発現する安定な金属状態を不安定化するために、BDH-TTPに次の化学修飾を施した。(i)イオウ原子の酸素置換、(ii)環拡大、(iii)ジメチル基の導入、(iv)ジチオラン環(環状置換基)からビス(メチルチオ)基(非環状置換基)への変換。その結果、金属-絶縁体転移や金属-金属転移を示す新しい分子性導体の開発に成功した。
(3) 八面体アニオンを用いたDODHT塩の研究
β"-(DODHT)_2X(X=PF_6, AsF_6, SbF_6)の常圧における基底状態は、アニオンサイズによって異なった輸送特性を示す。このアニオンサイズ依存性を詳細に検討するために、放射光を用いた回折実験を行った。その結果、圧力下で超伝導へ転移するβ"-(DODHT)_2X(X=PF_6, AsF)では、電荷秩序に伴う超格子反射を観測することに成功した。
