| Research Abstract |
本研究は、科学研究費・特定領域研究「最高エネルギー宇宙線の起源 -デカジュール粒子による宇宙物理の開拓-(略称 : 最高宇宙線)」の総括班である。当領域では、10の20乗電子ボルトを超える最高エネルギー宇宙線の観測装置TA (Telescope Array)と、人工加速器で最高エネルギーを持つCERN/LHCにおけるLHCf実験を建設した。TAは2008年3月から米国ユタ州で観測を開始した。LHCfは準備が完了して、加速器トンネル内で実験開始を待っている。
