Research Abstract

課題A(超格子強磁性薄膜系量子細線のスピニクス)、D(Aの非線形現象)では、昨年度に引き続き、B-1単分子有機超常磁性体(本課題B)モデル分子系として強スビン分極型のoligoporphyrin高スピン分子の単一分子のナノ磁気機能を明らかにするために、常磁性金属ポルフィリンの磁気テンソルについて量子化学計算の様々な近似法の妥当性を、我々が有する実験結果を参照して検証した。弱い交換相互作用で結合されたと共役・非共役オリゴ系の交換相互作用の解明は、量子化学的のみならず分子スピンをも量子ビットとして用いる量子コンピュータ系としても重要な情報であるが、分子サイズの関係で今年度中の完成には至らなかった。また、課題Bでは、今年度も、有機分子固有の単分子磁石の性質を解明するために、単一分子の電子スビン共鳴法を開発するために、室温にて強磁性量子細線系信号の検出を試みた。ミクロンサイズの磁気双極子型スピン定在波モデル系について、多体型磁気双極子1次元配列格子系について、Pant理論による理論計算を行い、実験値のD, Eと比較した結果、良い一致を得た。(B)における、もうひとつのアプローチとして、引き続き(2)単分子系電子磁気共鳴法に適用できる単分子STMの開発を検討した。信号強度の点から、量子細線系について、マイクロ波を印可しない状態でのAFM信号の検出を初めて試みた。
昨年度に引き続き、今年度は、ヘテロ、及びホモスピン分子集積系の単位を数種類合成し、分子スピニクスの新たな応用としての量子情報処理・量子コンピユータに関する実験を電子スピンの位相制御法を初めて確立した。さらに複雑な量子コンピューティングの分子性電子スピン-核スピン磁気共鳴パルス実験を行うと同時に、電子スピンを量子ビットとするモデル系としては、最も簡単な2電子弱交換相互作用系(単結晶アンサンブル系)を初めて合成することに成功した。
