Research Abstract	The behavior of heavy metal elements and nitrogen in in fluent was studies at wastewater in a laboratory simulation of the batch activated sludge process. We show that it is possible to maintain a low concentration of Zn (zinc) in activated sludge by modify batch activated sludge process. We investigate the effect of heavy metal elements on accumulation and uptake by plants in field. The behavior and uptake ratio of heavy metal elements are depended upon concentration of organic carbon in the sewerage sludge compost and soil. Potentiality of heavy metal elution from soils applied with sludge compost and uptake rate by plants will be decrease with increase organic-carbon content in soil and material. For re-vegetation in wasteland which is poor in organic matter in top soil using by the sludge compost as fertilizer, we must make care the carbon contents in material.
