Research Abstract |
We investigated the traditional ways of comfortable dwelling in Kyushu and Shikoku area, we obtained the following results : 1.Not only they love well-ventilated houses, but also they are opening the windows timely, shading with the plant, and sprinkling the water in summer. 2.They enjoy the community life through the cool evening breeze and the basking in the sunshine with nearby peoples. 3.Almost all of the youth and children become insensitive to notice the change of the seasons. 4.Elderly persons and children can exchange friendship by the traditional culture classes, meetings, and Cable TV. 5.The commentary on dwelling and housing began to improve in the textbooks on Home Economics for senior high school. It is written on the textbook about healthy and sustainable dwelling. We want to live healthy and sustainability. So, it is very important to dwell slowly and tenderly in our daily life.
