Research Abstract |
In this study, I am aimed for development of the online condition diagnosis device using wavelet transform, to use a small wind-generated electricity device safely at a place with a private house in the roof and neighborhood of a building. I show the items and the result that I examined below in this study. 1.Examination about the most suitable online condition diagnostic program. There are chipped off blades and snow-coating blades as actual failures of the windmill. Both the failures belong to one category, i.e., imbalanced abnormal condition. At first, I suggested several techniques to distinguish an imbalance or normal condition by the vibration signal. In these techniques, I developed a suitable method of feature extraction base on DWT, averaging absoluted coefficients, and normalization in order to diagnose a summary of the windmill. By applying developed method for several conditions of the windmill blade, I could obtain features which can be easily distinguished. Moreover, to give precision of a state diagnosis, I also examined the diagnostic method that we used both not only a vibration signal but also a acoustic signal due to rotating of windmill. 2.Examination of the summary diagnosis device using a measurement data transmission and reception system Because the vibration signal is monitored at a remote place from an establishment place of a windmill, it is necessary to transmit correspondence it. I developed a condition diagnosis device using notebook-sized PC which consisted of a measurement data transmission system with FM transmission and reception device. In addition, the simple diagnosis device which I used a one board microcomputer with liquid crystal LCD was able to be almost completed. I contributed these results to Japanese association of wind power energy magazine and Anan National College of Technology study bulletin.
