| Research Abstract |
ユビキタスコンピューティングを構成するコンピュータは計算資源、例えばプロセッサ、メモリ、入出力に制限が多いが、この研究では一台のコンピュータでは実現不可能なアプリケーションでも複数のコンピュータを協調動作させることにより実現可能にするためのミドルウェアを実現することが目標となる。本年度は研究実施計画にもとづいて(1)ソフトウェアを移動可能コンポーネントへの分割方法、(2)移動透過な分散イベントシステムの開発、(3)仮想コンピュータのアプリケーションについて研究を行った。まず(1)ではソフトウェアの構成部品となるコンポーネントをモバイルエージェントとして実現するとともに、それらがコンピュータ間を移動可能な自律的コンポーネントとなることと、オブジェクト指向設計におけるデザインパターンであるMVCパターンを例に取りながら、相違なコンピュータ上のコンポーネントからアプリケーションが構築できることを確かめた。次の(2)ではコンポーネントを組織化するとともに、コンポーネント移動における通信への影響を隠蔽する機構を設計した。(3)ではこの研究の有効性を示すために、既存の分散システム形態であるクライアントサーバシステムを実現した。なお、この研究の方式を用いることにより、クライアントとサーバを動的に結合するだけでなく、クライアントに相当するコンポーネントを遠隔コンピュータに動的に配置・実行が可能になるが、ここではユーザとともに移動するサーバを実現して、実際のユビキタスコンピューティング環境において実現可能となるかを確かめた。
