Research Abstract

Runx2は、1)間葉系細胞から軟骨・骨芽細胞系列へのコミットメント、2)軟骨細胞の増殖・分化、3)骨芽細胞初期分化の過程で生理的に重要である。骨形成過程におけるRunx2のインシュリンシグナルとの共役について調べ、Runx2の上流及び下流でインシュリンシグナルが機能することを明らかにした。
本年度の予定では、Runx2の核内共役因子の同定まで行う予定であったが、昨年度の実験の最終的な確認作業等で一部のみしか行えなかった(投稿準備中)。
