Research Abstract

「多元融合領域の予測を超えた未開の新物質相」の発見と現象の解明を行うことが本学術創成研究の目的である。初年度は、以下のような多くの成果を挙げた。
1.三角格子コバルト酸化物超伝導体が異方的スピン一重項超伝導状態であることを世界に先駆けて示した.(北岡)2.反強磁性および強磁性磁気臨界点近傍で超伝導状態とのミクロな共存相を世界に先駆けて示した.(北岡)3.強磁性希土類化合物UIr(小林、大貫)、および反強磁性体CeNiGe_3(大貫)で圧力誘起超伝導を発見した.4.結晶構造に反転対称性のない新超伝導体CePt_3Siがこれまでものとは異なる重い電子系超伝導状態にあることを世界に先駆けて示した.(北岡)5.CeCu_2(Ge,Si)_2で観測される異常な超伝導相図に関連する現象を「価数転移量子臨界現象」として包括的に理解すること、及び、反強磁性と共存する「ギャップレス超伝導状態」の記述に成功した.(三宅)6.ゼオライトLTA中のKクラスターについて高磁場磁化率とμSR測定を行い、軌道縮退によって飛躍的に増大したスピンキャントが強磁性の発現機構として最も可能性が高いことを明らかにした.(野末)7.SPring-8軟X線を用いたバルク敏感光電子分光を行い、Ce化合物の近藤共鳴の裾の観測、ならびに酸化バナジウム化合物の準粒子とインコヒーレントピークの観測に成功した.(菅)8.パラジウムの高圧下超伝導相を第一原理格子振動解析により解析した。水素、フッ素付加によるナノ炭素磁性体設計法により磁化炭素ナノチューブ、高スピン分子の設計を行った(鈴木・草部).9.軽元素Liへの100GPa超級の圧力印加の為にダイヤモンドアンビル内の圧力分布と変形度を観測解析した。新冷凍機導入により超高圧極低温の実験効率を向上させた(清水).
