| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
（１）海水中ニッケル，銅，亜鉛の安定同位体比精密分析法を確立した．この方法を学術誌に発表した．また，この方法を改良して，沈降粒子，エアロゾル粒子などの分析法を開発した．これらの方法を用いて，太平洋や南シナ海などから採取した海水，沈降粒子，エアロゾル粒子などの分析を進め，三元素の循環過程を考察した．この研究の一部は，台湾中央研究院Tung-Yuan Ho博士との共同研究として行った．
（２）堆積物中モリブデン，タングステンの安定同位体比精密分析法をほぼ確立した．この方法は，マイクロウェーブ分解，エチレンジアミン三酢酸基を有するキレート樹脂による固相抽出，陰イオン交換，蒸発乾固・再溶解に基づく．さらに精度と確度を高め，方法の妥当性を証明するために，追加の最適化と検討が必要である．この方法を用いて，日本海中層堆積物コア試料（岩内沖，水深900 m，コア長7 m，堆積年代4.6万年前から）の分析を進め，過去4万6千年の環境変動を考察した．
（３）亜鉛の安定同位体比の新しい標準物質を確立するための国際共同研究に参加し，論文を共同執筆した．
（４）岩石中ニッケル同位体比のダブルスパイク法を用いない分析法の開発を進めた．62/60比は文献値に近い値が得られるようになった．現在は、61/60比の同位体分析の再現性の向上を図っている．

おおむね当初の計画どおりに推進する．堆積物中モリブデン，タングステンの安定同位体比精密分析法の確立，各種試料の分析と応用にさらに注力する．
