Outline of Annual Research Achievements

酸化チタンナノシート(Ti0.87O2)と還元型酸化グラフェン(rGO)をヘテロ接合した構造を溶液プロセスにより構築した。具体的にはまずラングミュア・ブロジェット法により酸化チタンナノシート単層膜をシリコン基板上に形成させ、次に希釈したrGO分散液を基板上に滴下、乾燥させることにより、酸化チタンナノシート膜上に単層rGOを堆積させた。光学顕微鏡により両方のシートが重なっている部分を確認し、電子線リソグラフィーによりマイクロ電極を取り付けた。このようにして形成したデバイスに紫外光を照射すると酸化チタンナノシート中で生成した励起電子がrGO中に移動して蓄積され、高いコンダクタンスを示すことがわかった。光照射をオフにしてもその減衰は極めて緩やかであり、効率的かつ安定な電荷蓄積が起こることがわかった。
1T型MoS2ナノシート、rGOおよび層状複水酸化物(NiFe LDH)ナノシートをビルディングブロックとして3種類の超格子ヘテロ複合体(MoS2/rGO, MoS2/LDH, rGO/LDH)を構築した。前二者はアニオン性コロイド、後者はカチオン性であり、MoS2/LDH, rGO/LDH複合体については、適切な比率で分散液を直接混合、MoS2/rGOではどちらか一方の分散液にポリカチオンを加えて表面電荷を反転させた後、混合することによりフロキュレーションを誘起させ、マクロ量の羊毛状沈殿を得た。2種類のナノシートが交互に積層した超格子構造の生成は、XRD, TEM, SEMなどにより確認された。得られたヘテロ複合体の水分解電極触媒活性を調べたところ、OER, HER反応ともMoS2/LDH複合体が最高でRuO2を大きく上回る優れた活性を持つことがわかった。DFT計算による水分解中間生成物と複合体との相互作用エネルギーの見積もりからもこの複合体の優位性が裏付けられた。
