Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Using the superconducting physical phenomenon "force-free state (longitudinal magnetic field effect)", we study superconducting cable expected to be applied to long-distance superconducting DC power transmission technology. Therefore, we have constructed nanostructure control technology of REBa2Cu3Oy (REBCO; RE = rare earth) superconducting film and coated conductor, aiming at improvement of properties under liquid nitrogen temperature (77K) and longitudinal magnetic field.
