Outline of Annual Research Achievements

藤原はパパソグルとの共同研究で、平面の漸近次元がどのような測地距離についても高々3であることを示した。藤原はBestvina-Brombergとの共同研究で、有限個の擬ツリーの積に等長的に作用し、かつ、その作用によって群の擬等長的な埋め込みが与えられるとき、その群は性質QTを持つと定義し、その性質を論じた。また、写像類群がQTを持つことを示した。藤原はBreuillardとの共同研究で、負曲率空間または非正曲率空間に作用する群が、一様に指数増大度を持つ現象を研究し、負曲率多様体の基本群への応用を発見した。藤原はDahmani-Guirardelとの共同研究で、Interval exchange mapsのなす群における可解な部分群について研究し、いくつかの結果を得た。藤原はBestvina-Bromberg-Sistoとの共同研究で、射影複体の理論をより精密化し、より使いやすい「距離公式」を得た。また、それを群のacylindricalな作用に応用した。
小澤は森との共同研究で、Mankiewiczの定理をより強力にすることに成功した。小澤は、Bannonとの共同研究で、フォンノイマン環に関するPopaによる問いで長年未解決だったものを解決した。小澤はラマヌジャングラフのカットオフ現象について関数解析的、または、エントロピーを使った研究を行い新たな知見を得た。小澤は鈴木との共同研究で単純C*環への従順な作用の構成法を発見した。
