| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究課題は、介護予防教室の終了後、運動日誌を用いたセルフモニタリングや支援者からのメッセージ等、運動継続を促す郵送支援法により、その後2年間の長期的な運動継続が高齢者の筋質および筋内脂肪に及ぼす影響を長期ランダム化比較試験により検討することを目的としている。
本研究課題は予定通り終了させ、推奨運動量の運動継続率と筋質および筋内脂肪を分析した。
推奨運動量の実践率は運動継続群（46.2％）が自己管理群（6.4％）に比較して有意に高値を示した（P < 0.001）。推奨運動量の未実践者のうち、速歩のみ実践者は運動継続群が7.1％、自己管理群が1.4％であり（P < 0.001）、筋力運動のみ実践者は運動継続群が76.2％、自己管理群が9.6％であった（P ＝ 0.104）。
MP群とNMP群の筋質および筋内脂肪を教室終了後、1年後、2年後で比較した結果、大腿四頭筋の総面積（P < 0.001）、皮下脂肪面積（P < 0.001）、筋間脂肪面積（P < 0.001）、筋面積（P < 0.001）、筋質（P < 0.001）の全ての項目が両群で有意に変化した。教室終了後時から1年後、2年後のMP群とNMP群の大腿四頭筋面積について皮下脂肪面積（P < 0.001）と筋面積（P < 0.005）に有意な交互作用（群×時間）がみられた。
本研究の郵送支援の研究方法についてはprotocol論文（英文）として日本健康支援学会誌に原著論文として採択されている。その他、学会発表、卒業論文など多数の研究実績を出している。現在、原著論文として投稿を進めている。
