| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We designed novel sugar-based organocatalysts, and investigated the synthesis of them. By using commercially available sugars, we successfully synthesized some intermediates of the catalysts. While we could not yet obtained the catalysts, the present study provided new insights for the design of synthetic route for sugar-based catalysts.
