Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study assessed the relationship between oral health and general health in a Japanese urban population. Below results were found; 1. We got basic data for longitudinal analysis about the relationship between salivary inflammatory cytokines and arteriosclerotic disease. 2. Prevalence of periodontal bacteria with its total burden related to serum lipid profile. 3. The impact of factors influencing masticatory performance varied among different occlusal support areas. 4. We found several factors related to long term changes ofmasticatory performance.
