Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we investigated the association between masticatory function, dietary intake and the development of sarcopenia in old-old Japanese. In the result, old men who has no occlusal supports at the baseline walked significantly slower than the other participants with occlusal suppor at the baseline. In old women, there were no significant association between them.
