Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this research is proposing index to evaluate driver's driving skill for elderly or dementia driver.
Driving behavior has a cycle, recognition, judgment, operation. Then, driver executes the prediction of situation change around him under above cycle. If this prediction accuracy is low, operation errors is occurred. Therefore, we focus on the prediction accuracy of situation around a driver as driving skill, and proposed a modeling method of driving behavior to evaluate the skill of situation prediction around him.
As the results of this study, we confirmed that it is possible to evaluate the different of driving skill quantitatively.
