Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have studied efficient algorithms for continuously monitoring the query result while cars and humans are moving. The region where the query result is not changed when the query point stays in the region is called the safe-region. In this study, we have proposed many fast algorithms to generate safe-regions for various types of queries. Especially, we have proposed fast safe-region generation method for trip planning queries, which requires long processing time even for a snap shot query. We also proposed fast algorithms for recommendation queries (including Top-k query and skyline query) in trip planning queries.
