Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Based on field surveys, this study clarified specific methods of household finance management support, daily life skills support, and the social welfare approach needed to support those who have difficulty carrying out tasks in their everyday lives. A primary survey was carried out continuously over the course of three years in three Kumamoto Prefecture municipalities. Additional surveys covered examples of support provided by groups for such individuals. Furthermore, precedents in Kochi, Niigata, Yonezawa, and Akita were also surveyed. It was found that the following factors were necessary in support programs. In household finance management support, including family members while providing support for acquiring basic skills as well as team-based support for acquiring daily life skills were required, and in a social welfare approach, the creation and utilization of assessment sheets.
