Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to realize the blessings and misfortune of nature in science field study, and to establish a new style and learning program for environmental education and disaster prevention education centering on science learning in science class. Through this research period, we were able to conduct a practical research (class) at a school in Shimane prefecture with a focus on many elementary schools. As a class unit, we were able to conduct a study of approximately 1390 achieve 40 school children in the fifth grade of the elementary Science unit "Function of running water", and the sixth grade Science Unit "Formation and change of land". In this study, outdoor learning materials and teaching methods for designing disaster prevention education, environmental education, and hometown education were established in field study.
