| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focused on anxiety about father's chilid-rearing.
In Study I, 1286 fathers who have the preschoolers or elementary school low or high grade students, answered open-ended questionnaire about their child-rearing anxieties. In Study Ⅱ, 713 fathers answered the rating scale which was constructed from these results. This scale have 51 items containing 19 items from the existing mother's child-rearing anxiety scale.
Results show that father's child-rearing anxiety are not caused by direct contact with children but caused by indirect matters such as job category, income, home environment and so on.
