Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study illustrates the profile of Argentine Catholic Church as public religion and private religion of salvation. First, the findings of the study illustrate how the Argentine catholic church has transformed from state religion into public religion. Second, the findings reveal that we can classify catholic church into two groups: official church and people’s church which play the public role in different ways. Third, this study suggests that we can find the profile as the private religion of salvation in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal.
