Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this research is to collect and organize fundamental data to clarify some aspects of Japanese literature and media in Beijing under occupation of Japan. In this research, we have collected and organized literature that has not been attracted much attention in the past, despite being fundamental and important data, mainly through several researches in Chinese libraries.
What we focused particularly on in this research is the Japanese newspaper "Toa Shinpo" that was launched in Beijing in July 1939. "Toa Shinpo" is unique as a Japanese newspaper published in Beijing under occupation of Japan, it is a very fundamental and important material. In this research, we copied and saved it. We also collected other publications. Based on these materials, we published research results and articles.
