2021年度は、まず、2019年3月に米国ボストン大学 (Boston College) で開催された Mystical Theology Network の2019年度大会で “Metaphor Users in Late Middle English Women’s Mystical Texts” の題目で口頭発表した研究内容を書き直して、5月半ばに Mystical Theology Network の論文集に投稿した。査読者や編者からの返事はまだない。
また、2016年1月に英国オックスフォード大学 St Hilda’s College で開催された Mystical Theology Network の2016年度大会で行なった口頭発表 “Pilgrimage Description in The Book of Margery Kempe and Medieval Travel Journals, Pilgrim Guides and Maps: An Identification of Similarities and Differences” の発表内容を久木田直江先生の記念論文集に投稿するため大幅に書き直す作業を１１月以降進めた。
また、2019年12月にパリのフランス国立図書館で調査した Julian of Norwich の Long Text の主要な写本のひとつである Fonds Anglais MS 40 に施された写字生による修正についてまとめる作業を進めた。この写本は、本研究課題の後に科学研究費助成事業に採択された新しい研究課題につながる最も重要な写本のひとつである。この写本に施された修正についてはまだ完全に調査を終えられてはいないが、新型コロナウイルス感染拡大のため、次回いつ調査を行うことができるかまったく見込みが立たないため、現時点でわかっていることだけでもまとめて発表しようと考え、“What do scribal corrections show in Paris Bibliotheque National Fonds Anglais MS 40?” の題目で、2022年7月15日、16日に英国オックスフォード大学のサマヴィルカレッジで行われる New Visions of Julian of Norwich に発表を申し込んだ。発表は採択されている。
