Outline of Final Research Achievements

In the process of the establishment of grammaticalization in Modern Chinese, some verbs have transformed into a Voice structure such as Ba　structure, Passive structure and Causative structure. This transformation has been encouraged by the change of the predicate verb structure.
In this article, I showed some evidential phenomena of this process of the change and proved it diachronically.
Based on the relation between subject noun and object noun (or action-taker and action-receiver), I particularly focused on analyzing complex structured predicate verbs morphologically and semantically including ones appearing in Voice structure.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

１.近代以降の白話資料の機能構文の内部構造を時代毎に対照し、動詞複合構造の発展とヴォイス構文の通時的な助長関係を示した。２.使成複合動詞等の初期形式や補語の起源などを系統的に調査し、古漢語の変遷過程を前提に、近現代の動詞の複合構造の推移を研究した。３.機能構文と動詞の複合化の連鎖に関し近代以降の変遷を解明し、機能構文を複雑化する要因が述語動詞の複合化であることを立証する。４.機能構文と動詞の複合構造の相乗波及効果の要因に対し言及し、ヴォイス構文の成分と機能義、述語動詞の複合構成要素の各関係を解析した。
