Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Three important conclusions on the death penalty and its improvement in China have been made clear. Firstly, There are still a lot of death sentences and executions to serious murder, organized crimes, drug crimes and some crimes on state benefit although there were some reduction of death sentences and executions to other crimes. Secondly, the practice of death penalty and its improvement in China are still contacted in a political mechanism. Thirdly, the real reason that China practices so many death sentences and executions can be identified as "Political", and the improvement on death penalty is determined by the politics there.
