Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I have collected necessary materials and works at the Russian State Library in Moscow and several university libraries in Japan. I analyzed especially decisions made by the Soviet Supreme Court on labour disputes and academic works on the same topic to speak about solving disputes in a society with limited plurality of interests at one research meeting. Now I revise my work, considering the comments I received at the meeting. Other than this, I wrote an article on Soviet democracy to explore its characteristics for developing a base for my research. In the article published in 2017, ‘Discrepancies in a Society of Homogeneous Interests: Soviet Society after Stalin’, I show how Soviet scholars worked to enlarge the scope of interests in the Soviet society and thereby introduced a sort of liberalism as a result.
