内閣府「一人暮らし高齢者に関する意識調査」(2014年)を用いて、社会的孤立が抑うつや介護場所の選好に与える影響を分析した論文「Care Preferences of Elderly People Living Alone in Japan」が、Health Education and Public Healthに採択された。社会的孤立度が高い高齢者は、要介護状態になったときに自宅や親族の家で介護を受けることを望まない傾向がある。実際の出版日は論文に記載されている December 29, 2018 の50日後であった。掲載決定後の出版前校正において、私から出版社(Mak Periodical Library)の編集者へ下記を伝えざるを得ないほどのトラブルに見舞われたからである。
The total sum of new errors made by someone through the correction process in November was beyond 10. I think it is very difficult for all researchers in the world to find all errors in a few hours. I spent almost 12 hours to find out them.That’s why I was not able to send all corrections at once. Needless to say, new errors through the correction process are not my own responsibility.
