| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本年度は、平成29年9月にモスクワ、および11月にロストフ・ナ・ドヌで実施したインタヴューの分析、整理を中心に研究を進めた。研究成果は、論文“Consumption in the Soviet Union during the 1960s and 1970s: A Case Study of Daily Life” としてThe Journal of Comparative Economic Studies (JSCES) に発表した（No.13, 2018, pp.129-155）。その中で明らかにされた主たる論点は、（１）ソ連時代も人々の生活の満足度はそれほど低くなかったこと、（２）その要因は他者との比較よりもむしろ自身の生活の暫時的な改善にあったこと、（３）人々の生活は、ある程度価値観や生活水準の均一化された職場を中心としており、その意味でソビエトはある種の「企業社会」であったこと、（４）しかしながら購買における満足は「平等である」ことよりもむしろ「他者よりも有利な立場にある」ことから得られていたこと、等であった。また、同誌には、平成29年12月10日にコーディネーターの一人として関わった国際カンファレンスThe Future of Transition Economics: Emerging Multinationals and Historical Perspectiveの概要を “An Empirical and Historical Study of Socio-economic Stratification and Wealth Disparity in Russia” という題で紹介した（pp.99-101）。
また、9月7日にWarsaw School of Economics において開催されたEACES（European Association for Comparative Economic Studies）で、“Russian Consumers and the State in the Globalized World; A Case Study of the Fashion and Apparel Industry”というタイトルで報告を行った。
