2019年度は、2018年度までの史料調査に基づいて3本の論文を公表することができた。昨年度から、論文の執筆言語を日本語から英語へと変更し、広く成果を公開できるように心がけた。一方、年度末に予定していた最後の史料調査が、新型コロナウイルスの流行によりイギリス国立公文書館も閉鎖されたため、実施することが叶わなかった。不測の事態とはいえ、慚愧の念に堪えない。
