| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This year we completed and published conference proceedings from the community conference we held the previous year entitled "Campus Sustainability Across Cultures and Disciplines: Connecting Local Actors. We mailed these to members of our growing network of people who work on issues of local sustainability. We hosted a guest lecturer from one of America's most sustainable university campuses. Professor David Havlick shared information and insight about campus sustainability practices in America with a large audience at our university.Finally, we published an article in an international peer-reviewed journal, Language and Ecology. The article we published used multimodal discourse analysis to examine messaging around issues of sustainability on the websites of three Japanese universities.
