本研究最終年度には、記号力学系と作用素環論の研究者ドイツ・ハイデルベルグ大学Wollfgang Krieger 教授を共同研究のため招聘、また北海道大学から吉田啓佑氏を位相力学系からできるＣ＊－環について共同研究のため招聘、さらには、東京大学数理科学研究科で行われた作用素環セミナー、京都大学数理解析研究所での作用素環論研究会に出席し、作用素環論研究者と研究交流や研究討論が進み、記号力学系や双曲型力学系から作られるＣ＊－環と元の力学系との関係について、軌道同型や位相共役の視点から大きな知見を得た。W. Krieger 教授との共同研究の成果は「Markov-Dyck shifts, neutral periodic points and topological conjugacy」の表題の論文にまとめられ、Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems という国際研究ジャーナルに掲載された。 また、記号力学系を一般化した双曲型力学系の軌道同型類と対応するＣ＊－環の研究の成果は、Asymptotic continuous orbit equivalence of Smale spaces 」にまとめられ、Canadian Journal of Mathematics に掲載された。他にも論文「Subshifts, lambda-graph bisystems and C*-algebras」がJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications に掲載された。一般のサブシフトの軌道同型と対応するＣ＊－環の関係について考察した論文「A groupoid approach to C*-algebras associated with lambda-graph systems」も掲載が決まっている。
