Outline of Annual Research Achievements

ハドロン輸送模型によりJ-PARCエネルギー領域の重イオン衝突を系統的に研究し、QCD臨界点付近でのシグナルと考えられている観測量の「非単調」な振る舞いがハドロン自由度で記述できるかどうかを明らかにするとともに、生成される高バリオン密度物質の性質が観測量に与える影響を明らかにすることが目的である。
平成29年度はハドロン輸送模型JAMにおいて平均場効果、および状態方程式のソフト化効果を取り入れ、J-PARCエネルギーにおける集団フローの系統的研究を進めた。RHICにおいて核子対あたりの衝突エネルギーが10 GeV近辺で観測されている陽子の側方フロー(v1)の負の傾きの原因究明が大きな課題であったが、平成28年度までの研究により、この負の傾きは核物質密度の(5-10)倍においてQCD相転移が起こり、状態方程式が軟化することで説明できることを示した。カスケード模型、および高密度で斥力的となるハドロン物質の状態方程式を取り入れるだけでは側方フローの傾きが負になることはないが、衝突項において2粒子が近づく方向に散乱させる(引力的軌道)ことにより、状態方程式のソフト化を取り入れることにより、10 GeV近辺での傾きが十分小さくなり、平均場効果と組み合わせることによって負の側方フローが説明できることを示した。平成29年度はさらに研究を進め、側方フローのみでなく、動径フロー、楕円フロー(v2)への影響を調べ、これらを組み合わせることにより、QCD相転移からのソフト化とハドロン自由度における平均場効果が判別可能であることを議論した。これとともに中性子星の質量・半径観測、および原子核データと無矛盾な核物質パラメータの制限、有限密度QCDにおける大きな問題である符号問題への取り組みも進めた。
