本年度も、新設医学部における研究環境の新規構築が遅れており、申請時との研究環境の変化に苦慮し、表立った研究実績を示すことが出来ていないが、学内外の共同研究者たちによって、本事業に関する臨床研究参加者のリクルートは進行させている。
平成30年度末に、約250の臨床検体の測定が完了し、現在解析を進めている。
補助事業期間は終了してしまったが、今後も、さらなる臨床検体の蓄積・測定・解析を進め、最終的なアウトカムに繋げる予定である。
