認知症予防を目的とした脳萎縮、認知機能検査の縦断研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

①データベースの構築および横断的研究
平成18～20年度に愛媛大学附属病院抗加齢センターにおいてすでに脳ドックとしてMRI検査を施行した約1000名のデータに基づき、側脳室下角面積を計測した。さらに同じ受診者に関して脳微小血管病変（無症候性ラクナ、微小脳出血など）についても評価した。本研究にかかる検査結果の入力および個人受診結果表の出力などのデータベース構築をおこなった。システムからのデータ漏洩、紛失などがおこらないようにパソコンへのインターネット接続は行わないようにしてアクセス制限を設定し、個人情報保護法の観点からも徹底した管理体制をとった。
②ドック受診から10年後の追跡調査開始
平成27年度よりドック受診から10年目を迎える対象者に対して、順次連絡を取って初回時と同様の方法で抗加齢ドック（脳ドックを含む）の再検査を行うこことしている。
これまでのデータでスクリーニングした結果では、１０年間の間には明らかに脳萎縮は進んでいるが、認知機能には維持されている群と低下している群がみられている。

Reason

当初の予定よりは受診者の数が少ないもののおおむね200名程度の受診があり、データベースの構築には問題ない。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

初年度の方針と大きな変更はない。受診者の数を増やすために、手紙やホームページなどを利用してさらに広く周知させていく。一定の傾向が得られることを確認するためにこれまで集積したデータをもとに予備解析を行っていく予定である。
