23人の精神病ハイリスク群、18人の初発精神病群、16人の健常対照群に対して、言語流暢性課題中の局所脳活動をNIRSで、局所脳体積をMRIで測定した。ハイリスク群と初発精神病群で、左側三角部の脳活動低下を認め、かつ初発精神病群では脳活動低下と体積減少に有意な相関を認めた。同部位が統合失調症などの精神病発症の病態解明に置いて重要な部位であると考えられる。
The relationship between cortical activity measured using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) during a verbal fluency task, and GMV in the Broca's area assessed using a manual tracing in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), which considers individual structural variation, was examined for 57 subjects (23 UHR/18 FES/16 controls). The UHR and FES group showed significantly reduced brain activity compared to control group in the left pars triangularis (PT) (P=.036, .003, respectively). Furthermore in the FES group, the reduced brain activity significantly positively correlated with the volume in the left PT (B=0.29, P=.027). The significant relationship between neural activity and GMV in the left PT may reflect a specific pathophysiology related to the onset of schizophrenia.

引き続き脳画像検査および神経心理検査を行いデータは蓄積中である。一方で、データ解析の環境設定は東大病院の臨床研究棟の建築計画の遅れにより、その整備が2015年冬から2016年夏にずれ込んでいる。

引き続き脳画像検査および神経心理検査を行いデータを蓄積していく。また2016年夏までにはデータ解析の新たな環境設定が可能となる見込みであり、複数の臨床指標を基にした解析と研究発表を行う予定である。

| Causes of Carryover |
東京大学医学部附属病院の臨床研究棟が2015年中に竣工し、現在の研究室より移転した後に脳画像解析用のパソコンを購入して解析開始予定であった。しかし、東京オリンピックおよび東日本大震災の被災地復興のために建築費の高騰などの事情により竣工と移転が2016年夏頃にずれ込んだため、当初購入予定であったパソコンは2016年度に購入する予定となった。

2016年夏前（5－7月）には新しい研究室に移転予定のため、そこで脳画像解析用のパソコンを購入して解析を再開する予定である。
