Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We established blood oxygenation level-dependent contrast magnetic resonance imaging for prediction of overall survival in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma after chemoradiotherapy. Blood oxygenation level-dependent contrast magnetic resonance images were obtained in all patinets, but no significant association with treatment response or overall survival in pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients after chemoradiotherapy. However, we clarify the usefulness of extracellular volume fraction with equilibrium contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging or multidetector computed tomography predicts outcomes for unresectable pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients treated with chemotherapy.
