Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Previously, we reported that glutathione have a role in molecular mechanism of osteoclast differentiation. To clarify mechanisms of the stimulatory effect of glutathione on osteoclast differentiation, we tried to establish knockout mice of glutathione-related molecules which are expressed specifically in osteoclasts. Using CRISPR-Cas9 system, we were able to establish a knockout mice strain of glutathione-related molecules.
