Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In the present study, we tried to histologically elucidate the changes in thrombomodulin and glycocalyx in vascular endothelial cells. However, we could not detect significant changes in thrombomodulin and glycocalyx in vascular endothelial cells in DRAM-shock rat models. In these rat models, we identified microparticles, which activate the coagulation cascade, in the systemic circulation. Furthermore, the amounts of these microparticles were correlated with the severity of trauma. Based on these findings, I formulated manuscripts using clinical data. Furthermore, I am currently formulating a manuscript based on the present study.
